Class Experience
In the first class, the teacher will assess the student's pronunciation of English phonemes. This will be done through reading, repeating after the teacher, listening exercises (IE can the student discern between minimal pairs), and conversation. The teacher will provide the parent at the end of this class with a note detailing any phoneme difficulties the student has. I am an ESL teacher with more than a decade of experience. I taught pronunciation classes at Hubei University for Nationalities for two years and have eight and half years experience teaching in Mainland China. Since then I have taught ESL to kids 5-18 online.
Student may be assigned simple homework to continue practicing the sounds learned in class. This should take no more than 10 minutes a day.
25 minutes per class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
