ESL: A Lesson a Day - Writing and Speaking (Flex: Beginner-Intermediate)

This flex class includes eight weeks of two to three video lessons a week in pronunciation, writing, and grammar. They can be done over a couple days, as well as five animated videos a week to help students with listening and speaking. The kids reply in the classroom with their own animated videos. This is a fun way to help them become more comfortable speaking English.

Every week, they also must post at least one animated question of their own, asking questions to the other students who then reply to the animated videos. In this way, they improve their conversation skills, asking each other questions and responding in English. 

I taught ESL and writing in Korea and Los Angeles for the last twenty years, and I currently teach writing in a bilingual school in Los Angeles. This ten week class will help your child improve their writing and speaking through storytelling and imagination. They will learn a lot!

Every Sunday, you send me their writing from the weekly videos and a longer speaking assignment. The longer speaking assignment is one to two minutes. They don't read it. 

I send feedback on the writing and the speaking before the following Sunday. This feedback tends to take me a lot of time, which is why I don't offer discounts on this course. It's at the lowest possible price I can do it.

Week Two: Basic vocabulary and pronunciation, Simple Present, Present Continuous

Week Three: Phonics, Pronunciation, Writing a More Advanced Sentence with Adjectives

Week Four: Present Perfect, Simple Past, Vocabulary, Pronunciation

Week Five: Prepositions, Gerunds, Vocabulary, Pronunciation 

Week Six: Phonics, Pronunciation, Vocabulary, Writing an Advanced Sentence with an Adverb Clause

Week Seven: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Writing a Story, Pronunciation, Conversation skills

Week Eight: Writing a story, Reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Pronunciation, Conversation
