Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Class Description:

Enhance your child's English speaking skills with personalized 1-on-1 sessions that integrate practical language practice with a variety of everyday activities and creative projects. Suitable for learners aged 3 to 18, this class combines engaging activities guided by a PhD educator specializing in ESL, tailored to your child's age, interests, and language level.

Lesson Structure:

Warm-Up Conversation (5 minutes): Each session begins with a brief, age-appropriate conversation designed to build comfort and confidence in speaking English. This could involve simple questions for younger children or more complex discussion topics for older students.

Focused Vocabulary & Phrases (7 minutes): Learn relevant vocabulary and phrases associated with the day's activity, whether it's an everyday task or a creative project. Younger students will focus on basic words and simple sentences, while older students will engage with more advanced language.

Interactive Real-World Activities (8 minutes):

Everyday Activities: Simulate real-life scenarios such as going shopping, ordering food at a restaurant, or planning a trip. Students will practice using English in context by role-playing these activities and discussing related vocabulary.
Creative Projects: Engage in drawing, crafting, or storytelling. Students will describe their projects, narrate their ideas, and use English to express their creativity. For example, they might create a story about their drawing or craft, or explain the steps they took to complete a project.
Wrap-Up (5 minutes): Conclude with a review of the key vocabulary and phrases learned during the session.

Teacher's Expertise:
Led by Dr. Victoria, a PhD educator with extensive experience in ESL, these sessions are designed to be both educational and engaging. Dr. Victoria's approach ensures that each lesson is customized to meet the individual needs of your child, making language learning both effective and enjoyable.
