Class Experience

Each class will highlight topics, such as treating others with respect, helping at home and school, showing kindness, and how to appropriately show feelings. Students will each have an opportunity to voice their opinions in this important life skills class!



Week 1: August 5th
Topic: Respect
Worksheets: Say No to Bullying (chart worksheet & writing worksheet)
Vocabulary Words: bully, bystander, victim, respect, physical bullying, social / relational bullying, verbal bullying, cyber bullying
Discussion: understanding the different types of bullying and how to say no to bullying

Week 2: August 12th
Topic: Trustworthiness
Worksheet: Relationships Trust 
Vocabulary Words: apologize, bullying, cheating, copy, gossiping, honest, rumor, stealing, trustworthy
Discussion: Dos and Don'ts of Friendship

Week 3: August 19th
Topic: Fairness
Worksheet: Make an emoji cube.

Discussion: handling our emotions when we feel something is not fair

Week 4: August 26th
Topic: Responsibility
