ESL for Young Learners: Come Learn English With Us!

In this ongoing full immersion class, we will practice our English speaking skills while talking and reading about various people now and throughout history. Each class will cover an important person like a leader or an artist and contain between five to ten vocabulary words, a reading paragraph, and discussion questions. Learners are encouraged to speak aloud and must have at least two years of prior English language instruction. Some amazing people we will cover throughout the class are Leonardo Da Vinci, Marie Curie, Li Ziqi, Naomi Osaka and more! 

Week of October 18th- This week we will learn about the infamous scientist, engineer, and artist: Leonardo Da Vinci! This class will contain vocabulary words, a reader, and a student led discussion of this awesome man.

Week of October 24th- This week we will learn about the great scientist, Marie Curie. This class will contain vocabulary words, a reader, and a student led discussion of this amazing woman.

Week of October 31st- This week we will learn about the famous farmer and video blogger, Li Ziqi! This class will contain vocabulary words, a reader, and a student led discussion of this incredible woman.

Week of November 1st- This week we will learn about the Champion tennis player, Naomi Osaka! This class will contain vocabulary words, a reader, and a student led discussion of this powerful woman.

Each class, we will discuss a different person, and students are welcome to request someone they would like to learn more about. Classes are not cumulative, and no prior classes are required so feel free to enroll anytime.
