ESL for Beginners, Level 1
Practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening while playing games, learning new vocabulary, and watching videos.

Beginner Level
The main focus of these on-going Beginner ESL classes, Level 1, is for students to speak English as much as possible with the teacher and other students. They will practice speaking about: introducing themselves, meeting and greeting, asking and telling age, the colors, the numbers 1-10, farm animals, fruits, the parts of the body, family members, asking where school supplies are, and asking/telling the location of toys. The curriculum we will follow is listed in the “Sources” section below....
Students will build a strong foundation of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English and feel confident using the English language with a native speaker.
I am TEFL certified and I have taught ESL to elementary school children on-line for a private on-line school in China for one year. I have an MA in World Languages from the top language school in the U.S. and I have taught Spanish and Italian to all ages in the classroom for 15 years. I am very passionate about teaching language and seeing my students succeed.

Homework is required at the end of every unit in Level 1 of Fredisalearns.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
