Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Students in this small class will learn and practice English vocabulary and pronunciation during a fun and interactive storytime. The course is limited to 4 students so each learner will have many opportunities to read and speak. 

I will read to and with students who will be invited to read aloud, answer questions, and discuss the topics presented in the session's reading. The goal is interaction, learning new words, and practicing pronunciation and conversation skills. 

Week One
Day One: Walk on the Wildside
Vocabulary: nature, across, through, mountain, valley 
Day Two: A Thank You Walk
Vocabulary: tuck, wag, chirp, feeder, neigh, buzz
Day Three: Funny Food by Phoebe McGuffee
Vocabulary: "Would you" and "I would"
Day Four: I use My Senses to Explore the Forest by Elizabeth Williams
Vocabulary: see, hear, feel, smell, taste
Day Five: Watch the Cookie
Vocabulary: watch, wind, kite, pocket


Week Two

Learning Goals

Students will improve pronunciation, build vocabulary, and enjoy storytime in this small group class. No more than 4 students can enroll in this class to make sure each student has many chances to read aloud and answer questions.
