ESL, EFL: 1-on-1 Private Conversational English Lessons (2x/week, 25min/class)
In this one-on-one ongoing twice-weekly course, students learning English as a second language will have the opportunity to learn and practice their English skills in a fun and relaxed setting with a native English-speaking instructor.

Description
Class Experience
The student will improve their knowledge and understanding of the English spoken language in the following ways: 1. Understanding of the English alphabet and phonics (letter sounds) 2. Vocabulary words 3. Spelling 4. Grammar for spoken English 5. Conversational English in many common topics such as introductions, classroom/school words, verbs, colors, vegetables, fruit, prepositions, opposites, homographs, homophones, food groups, nouns, days of the week, the four seasons, idioms, alphabet, digraphs, desert animals, polar animals, rainforest animals, wetland animals, insects, and creatures
I have taught ESL to children ages 2 - 16 in an online environment since 2018. In addition to my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, I have earned both TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certifications. My certifications and teaching experience have allowed me to enhance my skills in teaching English to children who have never spoken the English language before. I have regular students whose parents request me on a weekly basis to teach their children. I have developed a strong rapport with my students and their parents and have seen many students' progress in speaking English. I also have 12 years of experience teaching online at the university undergraduate level.
The teacher may assign homework for students to practice at home in the form of a printable PDF file. The homework will consist of English vocabulary words and sentence frames that the student is studying during class and is for the purpose of content extension.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No formal assessments will be conducted in this ongoing conversation class. The class is designed to serve as practice for conversational English.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will be using Google Slides to present some digital examples of the things we are learning in class. No account or student access will be required as I will be sharing my screen to teach.
