What's included
1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this class, students will meet with Rachel to develop their English skills by engaging in a one-on-one conversation about a variety of fun, preplanned topics based on the student's English proficiency. Typically, beginning students will follow the topics listed in Rachel's Beginner ESL Conversation Club Class and more advanced students will follow the topics listed in Rachel's ESL Conversation Club Class. If students have an important exam or interview to prepare for, Rachel might modify the topics to include specific topics/vocabulary, specific grammar, or practice tests that pertain to the upcoming exam or interview. Students will receive gentle correction and encouragement. Prior to the first class, families should contact Rachel to indicate the student's previous experience and goals for tutoring.
Learning Goals
Students will engage in conversations that will help the student achieve ESL goals. This might include answering questions that might be included in an upcoming assessment or content from a specific area of study such as music, science, or technology.
