Beginner Level
In this ongoing class, we will be working on English conversation skills. Each week, there will be a different conversation prompt. Each learner will get a turn to share their answer. We will work on proper wording and pronunciation as well as speaking in complete sentences. Week of 12/29: What is your favorite holiday and why? Week of 1/5: What is your favorite animal and why? Week of 1/12: Describe your family. Week of 1/19: Tell us about your town. What is your favorite thing about where you live? If your learner is interested in writing down the question of the week and their answer, they are more than welcome to come to class prepared with pencil and paper. I will assist with spelling.

The learning goals of this class are as follows:Speaking in complete sentences as well as using proper grammar and pronunciation.

As a native English speaker, I have helped my own children with proper grammar and pronunciation for the last 10 years. I also have ongoing book clubs with children who’s native language is not English. In those clubs we do work on proper pronunciation and grammar when they are writing the answers for their comprehension questions. Reviews
