Learner progress will be assessed daily during each lesson as the teacher sees and hears that the student has become independent in reciting the information learned during the calendar routine. Students will be able to ask and answer questions on their own. Students will have individual turns to demonstrate progress and understanding. Parents can also assess their own child's progress as they become more independent during their participation in class as well as how they are using learned information outside of class.Class Experience

We will cover topics such as days of the week, months of the year, how to read and write the date, numbers, colors, shapes, counting, number order, letter names and sounds, and rhyming. To ensure that students can clearly see the information, we will be using slides. We will also use chanting, rhyming, singing, and call-and-response to make the learning process fun and interactive.
