Description

Class Experience

The ESL Cafe is a place for your learner to practice their English with other ESL students.  Each class will have a topic of discussion as well as visual aides to encourage conversation.  Students will also be given helpful lessons on vocabulary, grammar, and functional language in English.  

Class structure will consist of an opener, open discussion, English lesson, and finally given corrections on speaking mistakes I heard during the class.  I will use props, images, and movement to...

Practice English conversation and pronunciation.  
Review grammar and functional language.
Use new vocabulary words based on lesson topic.

No homework will be assigned, but I will encourage students to review vocabulary and grammar taught during the lesson.  They may also want to prepare for the upcoming lesson topics with their own toy, props, and pictures.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I will provide feedback on each student's performance after each meeting to the parents via direct message.
