In this on-going class, students will meet other ELL while playing games led by Teacher Brittany. Many of her "Conversation Time" classes, end in playing games and leave the students begging for more! So, this on-going, speaking game class has arrived! 

Each class will begin with each student giving a brief introduction of themselves (name, age, where from, several likes/dislikes).  Then the teacher will introduce a game. Some games are vocabulary building games, some are description games and some are question games.  All games will require English speaking and comprehension from all students. Teacher Brittany will provide example sentences, vocabulary and questions as well as guide the students throughout game play. She will also help to correct errors in speaking while playing the games. 

The amount and type of games will vary from class to class depending on how many students enroll and the interest of the students. 

Week 1 - Vocabulary Building - Vocabulary Snake and Word Association
Week 2 - Description - Hot Seat- Using full sentences, get the person in the hot seat to guess the written word (Most popular!)
Week 3 - Forming Questions-  10 or less- One person will ask a maximum of 10 questions to guess a target word
Week 4 -Comprehension and Directions- Draw matching pictures
