Homework
1 hour per week. Homework, which is available through the off2class platform, is offered after each lesson. Homework will be due and reviewed prior to the next lesson.Class Experience
Intermediate - Advanced Level
A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 In these 1:1 classes learners will work with the teacher to improve their grammar. Learners of all levels are welcome in this class. Prior to class learners will be assigned a placement test that will test their grammar. *Please note, an email address is required to create login credentials for a placement test*. After completing the placement test, each learner will have a customized lesson plan based on their Gap Analysis. Learners will have access to the lesson and additional (optional) homework assignments through the Off2Class platform. Lessons are personalized based off of each learners placement test results.

Parental Guidance
This class uses resources from Off2Class including placement tests and lesson material used during class. Off2Class is an ESL curriculum platform. After enrollment, students will be provided with login credentials.

Hello! My name is Kourtney. I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology. I began working on my Master's degree in Social Work when I realized my desire was to teach.
I am a homeschooling mother and I have been working with children for over 16 years. I ran in-home childcare center before I decided to teach full-time online. For 6 years I have been teaching online as an ESL (English as a second language) teacher as well. I've taught children as young as 3 through adult learners in an online environment. I have also taught in all different subjects: math, reading, science, grammar, phonics, etc.
I have always loved reading, english and language arts growing up. They continue to bring me joy and excitement as I am able to inspire the same love and joy in my own daughter each and every day. I look forward to planning various classes where I can teach learners in these subject areas in a fun and engaging way that will instill in them a love for learning.
I love teaching children because it amazes me to watch them learn and catch on quickly. I have a lot of patience while at the same time give off enough encouragement to keep each learner motivated and that will show in each of my classes.
