You've entered a maze at the pumpkin patch. Inside the maze, scarecrows have tricks (puzzles/codes) and treats (clues) that have to be solved in order for you to get out. Use your building bricks to build solutions and escape from the maze.

During this class, builders engage in an escape room style adventure as they use there building bricks to build solutions to solve puzzles, crack codes, and overcome obstacles within the maze at the pumpkin patch. All builders participate in all parts of the challenge so the class is very interactive and hands-on. All builders should have a box of building bricks, a pencil, and paper nearby for class. For the majority of the of the class time, class will be held in a format where builders will be able to all see each other well and have many opportunities to engage in conversation about their building ideas and solutions. Throughout the adventure, I will share my screen from time to time as we find new clues and puzzles. This is a hands-on, creative, very interactive building escape room style class. This is not a virtual escape room with direct questions and answers or with general trivia. It involves using building bricks to create solutions to problems we encounter, solving building brick codes, and creative thinking. ** I also have a Jr. version of this class for 4-6 year old builders. My name is Danielle Day. I have a passion for inspiring young learners! I have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in both homeschool and public elementary school settings over the the last 18 years. I have also taught ESL online. Aside from teaching, I have coached basketball and a Building Brick League Team. I think learning should be authentic, engaging, and fun! My husband and I have 3 sons. As a family, we enjoy playing games, reading, riding our bikes, building with building bricks, and exploring nature.

It just means that right now, I have more class ideas than available hours in the day. I try to balance opening a variety of classes and leaving myself some time to be able to accommodate requested classes.
