Grab a friend a head to Washington D.C. for this fun, interactive, and extremely unique escape room! Breaking news from Washington D.C., an Alien Life Force has taken control of the Oval Office and is now in control of the United States! There is only one thing that can defeat this Alien, knowledge of the election process! Can you defeat the Alien and bring order back to the country before it's too late?! Students will explore a 360° interactive room of one of the most famous workplaces in the world, the Oval Office. The students will be “locked” in this room and will not be able to get out until they can successfully answer questions about the election process in the United States. Students will work in teams to decipher clues and read as they learn about the electoral college, presidential terms, political parties, the Constitution, oath of office, presidential vehicles, mudslinging, running mates, impeachment, voting, and more! Everything the students need to escape will be in the room, but will they make it out, or will Aliens take over the country!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the election process and a wealth of other information about the President of the United States.
