Parental Guidance

The escape room will take place using google forms, slides, and docs. You do not need an account it is just where the escape room is created. There is a picture of a skeleton statue that some very young students might find scary near the end of the escape room.

Pre-Requisites

Students should be able to read. (If reading is a struggle a student could still take it if there is a grown up able to help with reading)

Hello!

I taught art in traditional public schools for 6 years in Texas and started teaching on Outschool in 2021.

I would say my specialty here on outschool is escape rooms.

 I love teaching my passions and believe in teaching the whole child. That is why I love throwing in other tidbits of knowledge while working on a project. It also means if you signed up for an escape room with me, it might be under the category of "math" but I can guarantee you will be challenged at a lot more than just math. I like to challenge students to think outside of the box and come up with unique solutions to creative problems.

I also have taught art classes through Michaels Arts and Crafts stores. My favorite moment was when a young lady told me they had a closer store to them, but they drove further to me because, with me, she "actually learned stuff".

Fun and Personal: I love to create and have fun. In my free time, I love to play both board and video games. I am a huge Disney nerd, and represent the Hufflepuff house with pride. I have a sweet seven-year-old daughter and three cats at home.

Currently my personal life is jam packed so I am currently only offering self paced classes.
