** We do not play inside the Minecraft game** You wake up to a sound you don’t recognize. You open your eyes and see shulker boxes all around you. But wait? This isn’t your bedroom! You don’t know where you are, but when you stand up you find a note. How will you find your way out? Students will use their problem-solving skills to find the clues and escape the Minecraft EnderDragon Dungeon. Students will be reminded to use patience, respect, and teamwork as they work together to escape. The escape room will be presented using Google Docs and Forms. We will NOT be playing Minecraft during this class. All questions and puzzles can be answered without knowledge of the game, but a little Minecraft knowledge will make it more enjoyable. After the students have escaped the room, we will have a short discussion on their favorite and least favorite parts of the room. The time it takes for the participants to complete the room depends on the students. Students will have 30 minutes to escape, but class may run a few minutes short or long, depending on how fast the students escape. I will not admit students that enter later than 10minutes to class. We spend the first 10minutes checking everyone is ok and running through the escape room. Therefore I cannot admit people after the 10minutes. This is out of respect for the students. ** We do not play inside the Minecraft game**

Teacher expertise and credentials
Howdy! I am a writer and teacher from Texas.
I think social interaction with people your own age is super important, but also a bit hard in these times. In my "classroom" I strive to make a safe and fun environment for your students to not miss out on playing with kids their own age.
I currently host Among Us and Minecraft classes. Both of these are games I learned (and now LOVE) with in the past year. This being said, if your kiddo has a game they love but cannot find a social setting to play, feel free to message me and I can do my best to learn it and make a class.
I have a BS in General Studies from Texas A&M University. I am currently enrolled in a graduate school program and am getting my Masters in Communication.
In my classroom, I value safety, good attitude, and taking turns. I currently do not have academic classes, so my biggest hope is that your student is able to make friends in my classes.
