Solve puzzles and riddles in an attempt to escape a haunted house, as you listen to spooky classical masterpieces!
Class experience
To escape the haunted house, you will need to search rooms, decipher codes and riddles, and solve problems together. Students will hear music from Mussorgsky, Bach, Chopin, and Prokofiev. No previous music experience is required. Here is the premise of the game: "You are visiting a pumpkin patch with some friends, when you discover that there is also a haunted house on the property that you're invited to explore. Once inside, you realize that it's not exactly a haunted house--it's an Escape...
Students will need a sheet of paper and something to write with.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class has some spooky themes and imagery like ghosts and poison, but is presented in a silly, lighthearted way. I included images of both in the video so you can judge if it will be too scary for your child.
