Do you like puzzles? Are you into science and nature? Are mysteries your thing? Then this is the course for you! Each class will be centered around a theme found in nature. Students will work together using clues to solve puzzles and unravel a science mystery each week. The goal? Breakout of the digital escape room before time expires! The first and last few minutes of each class will act as bookends to introduce the mystery and debrief the learning. The time in between will be spent solving puzzles and trying to escape the digital breakout room! So much fun! So much learning! Come join us for an amazing journey of science discovery! As the students solve each nature mystery, they will explore the following learning objectives:

Whiteboard and marker to write down and keep track of clues. (Pencil and paper will also work.)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a former fifth grade science teacher with a degree in Biology. I have also spent several years working with gifted and talented students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. This gives me a unique perspective as I work alongside my learners, gently guiding their thinking and helping them to discover exciting new truths about the world around them.
