Class Experience

Escape the Bakery will draw on learners' puzzle and problem solving skills as they work together to find clues, crack codes and ultimately escape from the bakery without setting off the alarm! 

This is a student-centered class, where I facilitate the activity and offer hints and strategies to learners for solving the various puzzles. Students will be encouraged to share ideas/strategies for solving each puzzle with the group and then decide as a class what the next move should be. This class...

Learners will engage with other learners in order to solve puzzles and problems. 
Learners will share ideas and strategies with one another. 
Learners will use ciphers and logic skills to crack codes.

A paper and pencil will be helpful for writing down clues.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
