This history-themed escape room is for any type of learner, whether you are an expert in history or just enjoy the topic. This escape room will combine general trivia about World War Two, critical thinking and math questions so that all learners can participate to help their team escape. Here is your mission: It is the spring of 1944 and you have been in a POW (prisoner of war) camp since 1942. You have not seen your family in four years and you do not know when this war will end. You and your comrades have decided you are going to risk it all to escape the POW camp. To escape you must complete the questions and tasks to escape through the front gate of the camp. It will take bravery, skill, and most importantly knowledge, to escape this camp. Hunker down and prepare yourself for a 45-minute treacherous journey. Students will work together with their comrades to escape their POW camp in 45 minutes. Class Time: - 5 minutes for introductions and explanation of the escape room - 45 minutes to escape - 5 minutes to conclude (bonus trivia if students escape early!)
Learning Goals
