Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
*Parents, you can request custom class time slots & optimize your child's learning schedule!*

Give learners a new challenge of adding and subtracting to escape my digital room. Designed around common core math, students will complete puzzles to progress and escape to win.

This is a pretty challenging escape room but I can give hints if needed. Having a group of students would be even better to collaborate with the tasks.

In order to complete the multiple puzzles in this digital escape room, students must be familiar with:

1-digit multiplication
Addition, subtraction, and estimation
Intro to division

Equivalent fractions and comparing fractions
More with multiplication and division
Arithmetic patterns and problem solving

Measurement
Represent and interpret data

Grade 4

Multiply by 2-digit numbers
Division
Factors, multiples and patterns
Equivalent fractions and comparing fractions

⇢ Week of July 17th: Multiplication
⇢ Week of July 24th: Division
⇢ Week of July 31st: Fractions

This is a great cooperative learning activity for students to do in groups. This escape room can also be done by an individual as an enrichment or review activity. I have multiple versions of rooms for repeated lessons.

Currently a master's student with BA in philosophy and studio art. I love helping children make their little "light bulb" go off. I am experienced with tutoring math for students of all ages, as well as English/writing. I am proficient in all subjects, as I was valedictorian in high school.
