Class experience
Students will study the novel "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein in a group setting. Throughout the class, students will have the opportunity to expand their vocabulary, complete character analysis, practice writing responses to prompts, and strengthen reading comprehension. Students will improve their understanding of the portions of the narrative arc: Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Denouement. Students will practice identifying traits related to characters within a novel.
Students will need a copy of "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein. Additionally, PDFs will be provided that will need to be printed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
