In this one time class, students will learn how to make equivalent fractions in a safe and friendly learning environment. Students need a basic understanding of fractions.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Students will review basic concepts of fractions (numerator, denominator and parts of a whole). Students will review how to multiply fractions and then how to make equivalent fractions. This is an essential component of understanding how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators. The environment is designed for small groups or one on one learning.

White board with dry erase marker or paper with pencil (dark enough for instructor to see on screen).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
