Description
Class Experience
This 4 day class discusses quadratic topics such as the definition of what quadratic is, characteristics of quadratic equations and their graphs, forms of quadratic functions and the information they provide, and methods of solving quadratic equations. Students will listen to some basic information given by me and practice a few problems from each subtopic as we go through the material. On Day 1, I will give the definition and basic characteristics of quadratic equations/functions, how to...
Students will identify an equation as quadratic or not. Students will graph quadratic functions and identify their important features. Students will describe transformations to quadratic graphs. Students will identify forms of quadratic functions and what information can be determined by the form. Students will solve quadratic equations algebraically and graphically. .
