Homework
Each lesson will be taught as an independent unit so that students can join in to the learning right away. Several of the lessons are based on youth history books, and those will be referenced during the lesson.

US Grade 6 - 8
This class will explore interesting topics in U.S. History and feature student interaction, Q and A, kahoot quizzes. Some training in historical research will also be included.

Theme: European Settlement in North America

There will be many outside sources given in addition to book recommendation for every class meeting. These will include video links, websites from museums and public history organizations, primary documents, etc.

I have taught over 100 Outschoolers as well as having taught College for three years. I approach the material differently depending upon the age of the student, but it is never presented in a gratuitous manner if it is violent or otherwise disturbing.
