epic tales, big ideas, and endless imagination is an interactive storytelling class designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young learners. award-winning storyteller robert jerome pagan brings classic tales to life through expressive narration, engaging visuals, and guided discussions. each session introduces a new story, encouraging kids to explore themes, characters, and their own imagination in a fun and engaging way. what will be taught students will be introduced to classic literature and storytelling traditions, developing listening skills, comprehension, and critical thinking. they will learn to engage with stories through discussion, visual interpretation, and creative exploration. what topics will be covered each session will feature a different classic story, covering themes such as adventure, bravery, kindness, creativity, and problem-solving. students will discuss character motivations, story structure, and lessons within each tale. how is the class structured each class begins with an introduction to the day's story, followed by a dynamic reading with accompanying visuals. after the reading, students participate in a book club-style discussion, where they can share their thoughts, ask questions, and explore different interpretations of the story. how will you teach this class is taught through expressive storytelling, discussion, and visual engagement. learners are encouraged to actively participate by sharing their thoughts, asking questions, and imagining new possibilities within the story. what's your teaching style the class is interactive, engaging, and designed to make learning fun. storytelling is delivered with energy and emotion, making the material come to life, while discussions provide a space for students to express themselves and connect with the stories. how much will learners get to interact with you students will interact with the instructor throughout the session, engaging in discussions and answering questions. participation is encouraged, but students can choose to engage at their own comfort level. the class is structured to create an inclusive and supportive space where all learners can explore and enjoy storytelling.
