Students will have small assignments after each class, all related to Pokemon.Class Experience
Calling all Pokemon masters! This epic Pokemon camp is just for you! In this one week summer camp, students will participate in many different Pokemon related activities. Test your Pokemon knowledge as you complete the "Identify the Pokemon" challenge and try to trick your classmates and teacher in the "Guess Who?" Pokemon game! Have fun creating your own Pokemon trivia too! This class is filled with interactive games, activities, and more!! In the first class, we will identify the Pokemon and race to find the Pokemon! In the second class, we will test our knowledge playing Pokemon trivia! In the last class we will play Guess Who Pokemon and go on a scavenger hunt. Please bring your Pokemon cards and be ready for some epic Pokemon fun! Day 1: Identify the Pokemon game Race to Find the Pokemon game Day 2: Pokemon Trivia Pokemon Challenge Day 3: Guess Who? Pokemon Pokemon Scavenger Hunt Students will need to bring a variety of Pokemon cards, paper, pencil, and any other Pokemon items they would like to share with the class. Each student will have an opportunity to share something related to Pokemon.

Hello! My name is Amy and I have been a teacher for 20 years! I have taught early childhood and elementary grade levels, ESL students, college students, and adults through various institutions!
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I also have a Master of Science degree in Educational and Instructional Technology. In addition, I am certified to teach Reading in grades K-8 and all Middle School subjects. I have also obtained my TESOL endorsement.
My philosophy of teaching combines a few different educational theories. I am a strong believer of constructivist and brain-based learning and incorporate both into my instruction. I want to make learning interesting, engaging, fun, and challenging so that students are excited to learn and are more engaged in their learning. I incorporate differentiated instruction and multiple methods of instruction to meet the diverse needs of the students. I also strive to create a learning environment that supports social emotional learning and competency. I use a variety of technological sources in many of my classes, including PowerPoint, YouTube, and other digital resources. I love to incorporate technology, music, and a variety of other teaching methods to help reach all learners!
I reside in Arizona, USA with my husband, 4 children, 3 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs! Reading is my favorite hobby and I love animals. My favorite place in the world is the beach and I love to swim!
I teach reading classes, book clubs, science classes, and other fun learning classes. I offer a wide variety of classes on Outschool. I will work hard to make sure your child enjoys my classes!
