I am a professional teacher and know how to engage students at all levels into learning. I believe in learning by doing and by creating a product.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- GameMaker 8
Each week in the classroom portal I will send out a discussion post for students to reply to with a submission link to their project. This way I can monitor progress and give feedback on how things are going. I will also get the students to interact with one another by posting and sharing out in discussion prompts on examples of their work and through weekly thought provoking discussions on topics related to the course.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
