Note: I have recently accepted a full-time position and now teach very few classes on Outschool. At this time, I am unable to accommodate class requests. Thank you! Failure is a part of life, and it's also a big part of history! However many mistakes we have made, we can find comfort in the knowledge that that none of our failures can come close to these ten epic fails from world history. From the Titanic, to NASA's loss of a $190 million dollar satellite, to leaders who thought that invading Russia during the winter was a good idea, this class takes learners on a journey through some of history's worst mistakes. I will use a self-made PowerPoint with imbedded visuals such as pictures, graphics, and videos to present the information, while eliciting participation and engagement from my students using questioning, mini-quizzes, and discussion. I am known for my high-energy teaching style with a side of humor. I accommodate all learners in my classroom. If your learner enjoys this class, they may also enjoy these other related classes I offer: Fantastic Failures: Accidental Inventions Fantastic Failures 2: MORE Accidental Inventions Failure IS an Option: 10 Famous People Who Failed Their Way to Success Beyond Belief: Incredible Facts from Science and History Science Series: 10 Ways to Die on Venus

Some of the failures mentioned in this class have to do with mistakes made in war. While we don't dwell on fatalities, people did perish in these wars and on the Titanic.
