US Grade 3 - 5
If you enjoyed my first, second and/or third Brain Teasers classes (or even if you haven't taken them yet), and are ready for a new challenge, then this class is for you! In this class, students will be asked to solve all-new and different brain teasers, riddles, and puzzles, to enhance their thinking skills and stretch their minds. Some of the riddles may be serious, and others may be more silly, but all will challenge your student to think in new and different ways! The class will be structured in a question and answer format, with some group discussion about the different possible answers, in a fun, engaging, and friendly atmosphere! No prior experience or knowledge is needed, but as always, students should come prepared to think and have fun!
Learning Goals
Students will learn to think outside the box, in new and interesting ways, by solving various brain teasers, puzzles, and riddles.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hey there! My name is Caitlin Beyer, and I'm so excited to meet you! I have loved education, and working with kids, for as long as I can remember! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in School Psychology. I worked as a School Psychologist for about 7 years, working with kids grade pre-k through 12, where my favorite activity was leading social skills groups, and helping kids become the best students/friends/classmates they could be. I have also done some substitute teaching, and I currently teach English as a Second Language online, and absolutely love it! On the Outschool platform, I teach classes related to the things I'm most passionate about - health and fitness, psychology, social skills, reading/writing, animals, and music, to name a few. I believe that education should be engaging, interactive, and inspiring, and that a good teacher is one who makes kids feel comfortable enough to make mistakes in their learning process, while also having fun, and discovering their full potential! I have two young children of my own - a 2 year old and an almost-1-year-old, and they are the light of my life! I also love traveling, photography, and running long-distance. I have run several half marathons and marathons, and have a life-goal of running a race in every state in the continental U.S. :) I can't wait to see you in the classroom and learn more about you, too!
