Class Experience

In this semester course, we will learn about Environmental Science. What are the Earth's most diverse places? What are the impacts of climate change? How can we find sustainable solutions for our planet? Which are some of the renewable energies? How do matter flow in the ecosystems? What is the ecological footprint? Find the answers to these questions and many more in "Environmental Science - Semester Course". We will engage in a sustainable planet project: create our own sustainable solutions for our planet and design a new ecosystem.

We will meet two times a week for ten weeks.

During the course, each student will create their own sustainable planet based on what they learn, covering habitat, flow of matter, interactions, food webs, economy, marine and terrestrial conservation and their own imagination. They will get to present their sustainable planet to class.

My classes offer a unique opportunity to participate asking or answering questions and discussing different topics that we will see in each class. Participation is optional and students can use the chat too.

I will share my own presentations, videos, photos and my own experience as a marine biologist and scuba dive instructor.

My classes are designed to encourage student engagement and follow their curiosity. There are no prerequisites for this class.
