Each session consists of a short lecture, where we learn more about an environmental problem that we saw in that week's reading assignment, and the rest of the class is centered around discussing the book. Topics include aquatic pollution, habitat loss/palm oil plantations, animal poaching, bioengineering, climate change, etc. 📚 Reading Level:...

I have a degree in environmental engineering. I have worked on coastal research studying pollution in marine environments, at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography (CSIDE), and I have also work in water quality monitoring with the aims of tracking water pollution in waterways and drinking water. I hold multiple certifications in the building science industry (relating to energy efficient HVAC design and Net-zero energy homes). I also volunteer in climate policy educating the public about climate science.
