Description

Class Experience

This 4-week pod will allow students to explore real-world environmental problems in a hands-on and engaging way! Seed and Stem Learning Center believes that students learn science best through exploration, group work, and hands-on activities. Real-world problems, situations, and problem-based learning will drive student inquiry throughout this course. Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with other students and their instructor throughout this course in order to get the most...

After each lesson, students will receive an optional homework assignment. This may include a research report, lab, experiment, reading, or project.

Students will receive an optional material list when they sign up for the course.
These items will be common household items.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod

Students will receive a unit assessment after the course.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
