Students will learn the foundational concepts necessary to successfully start a business. At the end of the course they will have preliminary business plan and thorough understanding of what it takes to be an entrepreneur. 

I received my MBA from Harvard Business School and studied the case method approach extensively, including teaching and writing cases. In addition I have worked in the business world for over 20 years in various roles including as a corporate strategist, entrepreneur, and CEO. I've worked at start-ups as well as companies as big as IBM. In addition I've taught at Kaplan Test prep and tutored elementary through high school for over 15 years.

My current role is Founder and Lead Teacher at Streetwise Lab, a company that teaches MBA style business curriculum to middle school students across the US. 

Homework Offered
After each session students will take what they learned in the case discussion to apply to their own business plan development. We provide a template covering the various sections (pricing, marketing, financial targets, etc.) and they will complete it as we move through the course.

Assessments Offered
At the end of the course each learner will receive a short written assessment of their performance in class, as well as their strengths and areas of development.
