Entire Kindergarten Reading Curriculum (Taught by a Certified Teacher)!

If choosing to participate in the weekly learning activities:

For weeks 1-6 only: Learners will need to have access to items around their home to use for our Scavenger Hunt games (items that represent the presented letters, and the beginning, middle, and ending sounds in words).

For Weeks 7, 9, 11, and 12 only: Learners will need to have access to 6 plastic cups (any color), a highlighter or marker (any color), clear tape, scissors, and 3 blank index cards to build a Sight Words Pyramid as a learning activity.  This activity is optional, but it's a fun way to learn Sight Words.

For all remaining weeks, all materials needed will be supplied by me (the teacher) (no required supplies).  

Optional: Each week there will be a chance for learners to post their favorite toy, accessory, clothing, etc to match the theme for each week.

Parent/s please feel free to provide any additional assistance that you feel may be needed in order to best support your learner/s.  Always remember: We are a team!  We will do whatever it takes to ensure success for each learner!  Thank you for your cooperation!  I greatly appreciate each and every one of you!

Also, please provide close supervision if you're allowing your learner/s to use scissors while completing the Sight Words Pyramid activities.  Safety is our top priority!  Thank you.  I greatly appreciate it.
