I am a 5th degree Black Belt in Karate and have been teaching for over 20 years.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
As your youngsters will be moving around please note that for this class, be sure everyone is wearing comfortable clothing, has had a chance to stretch out (we will be doing a short warmup but it is best to be nice and loose before we start), and has water close at hand. You should also try and find at least 3 square feet of clear space to move safely in. Barefoot is recommended so that we don't slip.
