This weekly show and tell class is an inquiry based class where children can explore something that interests them. It takes show and tell to the next level using interests to start an enrichment inquiry.
Class experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Children will attend with a discovery box of toys or other items of interest. Each student will share one thing from the box, or more if there is time permitting. Students are free to ask questions about items or start an inquiry once the item is introduced. Through the sharing of items students will practice their inquiry skills being scaffolded by the teacher to ask and answer questions. I run a forest kindergarten and natural learning program using Inquiry and Project Based Learning. I have worked with families in the education field for more than 20 years. I have my Masters of Education in Sustainability, Creativity and Innovation which focuses on innovative learning approaches such as online and in person inquiry and project based learning.
