Class Experience

English/Language Arts encompasses many different topics from writing to reading to critical thinking. For some students, they may struggle with one concept in this array of topics or they may struggle with many of the topics. Wherever your learner is with their skills, I am there to meet them. This may include feedback and support on specific projects or general help with basic essay structure to grammar, syntax, reasoning, expression, or word choice or maybe we need to develop comprehension skills to improve reading. Sessions will vary depending on the needs of the learner.

I enjoy reading all types of literature from the classics, poetry, and young adult literature and can help your leaner dig a little deeper and come through the piece with a deeper understanding of the meaning. I also enjoy all types of writing including formal academic writing such as paragraphs, essays, or research papers, as well as creative writing such as poetry and short stories.
Learning Goals
