Other Details

Learning Needs
This class does not intentionally support unique learner needs. However, as an instructor, I am familiar with writing struggles such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. My goal is to work with students and parents for any accommodations needed.
Parental Guidance
The class focus is on developing skills rather than just covering specific subjects. For some assignments students will have the freedom to choose their writing topics, allowing for personal expression and creativity. In cases where students choose their own topics, it's recommended that both students and parents collaborate to ensure the chosen topics align with personal standards of appropriateness.
Pre-Requisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this class. However, it is assumed that students are at or near grade level in reading and writing.
