Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs and how to identify each one in a sentence. We will use these four parts of speech to identify and label (not diagram) sentences.
After class: I challenge each student to look for nouns, verbs, and adjectives around them. They can search for them in stories they might read with parents, movies they watch, on signs when they are riding in a car, and even in their other textbooks.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
