Class Experience

This is the fourth course in its 4 course group. I recommend taking the previous course before this one.

*Each lesson builds on the others. This lesson expands on what we learned throughout the course with interactive speaking opportunities and some new vocabulary word introduction. It sums up the course with some good practice to solidify the student's grasp on what we have learned.

I believe that the small group method is a great way for students to feel comfortable and have the option to get one on one help when they don't understand. Additionally, I do well in adapting to different learning types such as shy or timid students. Typically I'm positive, vocal and high energy to encourage students to try their best! I'm always happy to accommodate any concerns and questions before class.

This class will involve speaking, listening, reading, and writing. These are the foundations of any language and I take their unique characteristics into consideration when creating my custom lessons. There will be some guided reading in the lesson to cement the newly learned vocabulary. I don't expect students to have independent reading abilities, but I do want them to follow along with me if possible.

The student's comfort is a priority because without a positive learning environment, students can't memorize newly learned information.
