By spinning the Wheel of Verbs, learners will see an irregular verb, say the verb, then change the verb into its past tense form. This class will move very fast, trying to remove all the verbs from the wheel before the class time is up! Learners will work as a class shouting out the answers when the verb shows on the screen. The teacher may say the verb so that learners can hear the word's pronunciation in L1 English. Students with more exposure to irregular verbs may be asked for the third form of the verb (participle). If the class clears the wheel, the teacher will guide the group to make sentences with the verbs first in present tense, then changing it to the past tense. The verbs will all be on the Wheel of Verbs and screen shared by the teacher during class. Learners will not be clicking on links, visiting any websites, or logging into accounts.
