English Training for Brazilian Children

This ongoing class is a great way for your child to train his or her English skills! Each section, a new topic will be discussed! I will create a presentation for each week with verbs and vocabulary that culminate in a final presentation of target language by the learner. These classes are meant to be fun and informative, teaching you through fun target sentences with real-life value. The classes will include three types of activities: Open-ended questions (increasing vocabulary through memorization of sentence patterns), matching (memorization of vocabulary), and responses to vocabulary questions (target sentences). I aim for a session with 30% teacher talk time and 70% student talk time. However, this may change based on learner English level and participation. For this class, basic English knowledge (name, age, basic verbs) is suggested but not required. Here is a list of current topics for the sessions:

Week  of February 15th: 
Video game verbs (run/watch/save)

Week of February 22nd:
Minecraft (survival mode)

Week of March 1st: 
Minecraft (creative mode)

Week of March 8th: 
Roblox

Week of March 15th:
Fortnite

Week of March 22nd: 
Months of the year

Week of March 29th:
Sing the ABCs/Spell your name
