By spinning the Wheel of Food, learners will see a phrase, read it, then speak on the subject for 1 minute. This class will move very fast, trying to remove all the topics from the wheel before the class time is up! Learners will take turns speaking on the topic that shows on the wheel. They will then choose a peer to go next. The teacher may give an example at the beginning of class so the learners can hear in L1 English. If the class clears the wheel, the teacher will guide the group to make more topics to try to speak about regarding food. The topics will all be on the Wheel of Food and screen shared by the teacher during class. Learners will not be clicking on links, visiting any websites, or logging into accounts.
