Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 4
Games are a powerful and fun way for English students to practice grammar in a relaxed classroom setting. In this class English students will build their confidence in asking and answering questions using a specific verb tense. Using the past participle is often a challenge for new English language learners; in this class, students practice and strengthen their memory of the various irregular verb tenses.

This is a fun learning experience for native English speakers who want to build confidence in speaking. For ESL/EFL students, this class is great for reviewing grammar. **This is a great class for former students of Gogo, VipKids, PalFish, SayABC, Magic Ears and Whale English. I have taught for these online English companies in the past.**

Class Description:
First the student will select the verb tense to practice (present tense, simple past tense, present perfect tense or future tense). We will review the verbs with a quick speed game. Next, student will ask and answer questions about travel, food, aliens, magic and more. We will play 1-3 TicTacToe games, with the student having his/her own game board on a piece of paper or playing on the screen.

To practice more, student can do the optional homework:
1.)Play TicTacToe with family member or friend with the PDF sent to student.

*Note: This is part of a series of fun and simple English games to practice grammar .
**There are eight (8) rotating vocabulary game boards (hobbies, food, daily routines, travel, family, etc.) **
Learning Goals
In this class, the student will build his/her confidence in asking and answering questions in the verb tense of his/her preference. The student will also improve his/her critical thinking skills as he/she tries to win each TicTacToe game.
