This is a tailored 1-1 weekly reading tutor session. The topics and curriculum depend on the desires of the parent and the needs of the student. Students will learn how to read, retain, and comprehend information from reading passages. They will be able to answer questions and provide summaries of the reading text.
The teacher is a professional writer and has a B.S. in Communications. He has been teaching English and ESL for 9 years.
Homework Offered
Homework can be provided, but it is not required. Homework will be to read passages provided by the teacher. The student will also be asked to answer questions and/or provide a summary of the reading passage.Assessments Offered

The reading tutor has worked successfully with students who have ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. If your student has special learning needs, contact the teacher with information and suggestions for the lesson.
All students are welcome in class and there are no prerequisites.
