Class Experience

Hi, name is Mrs. Kaye and this is a fun class to help your child with English centered around a specific goal:

* speaking
* vocabulary
* reading
* writing - from sentence work to writing fiction and non-fiction pieces.
* grammar
* comprehension skills

Tuition is a great option and can be very helpful if:
* A class teacher has raised an area of improvement that your child needs to towards.
* Your child would like more practice / extra help or extension work.
* There are some areas of learning that they missed out on perhaps switching schools or moving to a new place.
* Your child would like to spend more time on a specific area.

This lesson is also for ESL students who would like to practice their English.

Your child will receive an individualized lesson. I am a very experienced teacher with U.K., U.S. and international school experience and I am very good at what I do so can adapt to what your child needs. This is an ongoing class.

Words are powerful and being able to articulate opinions and thoughts through speaking and then writing is an important skills for children and prepares them for their journey in life.

I am looking forward to meeting your child and to help your child reach their goals.

Feel free to send a message if you have any questions.

Note: If a learner is more than 10 minutes late, it will be considered a missed class as per Outschool policy and the class is not eligible for a refund. If your leaner needs to cancel class, I can reschedule for a make-up meeting.

If the cancellation is more than 24 hours in advance, I can also issue a refund. In general, students are allowed to cancel / reschedule 1 lesson every 8 weeks (with 24 hours notice). Exceptions may be made in an emergency. If I, as your learner's teacher has a scheduling conflict, I will either contact you to reschedule for a different time or if a time doesn't work for you, issue a refund. I respect your time and the learner's scheduled time either side and this helps lessons to run smoothly.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Kaye and I am really happy to meet you. I am an experienced primary school teacher. I started my career in London where I taught for many years. I then went on to teach in North Africa and the Middle East for over a decade - which was a truly fantastic experience. I have taken my classes at school on some pretty great school trips, from the Tower of London to the Pyramids of Giza! I am a UK SATs specialist. I have taught Year 6 and Year 2 SATs successfully for many years and worked with borough initiatives to help children accomplish their very best and set them up for future success in their academic career. I am very keen for students to reach their goals and develop confidence in maths, English and science. I am passionate about teaching and very good at what I do and really believe in making all areas of the curriculum accessible for children. I endeavour to make learning fun and accessible. I also have a lot of experience with different levels of learners at multiple stages of language acquisition from fluent mother tongue English speakers to English as an additional language. At the end of each lesson, I will send you feedback about your child’s participation to help you see areas of achievement. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I like to make learning fun. I love digital illustration in my spare time and create educational resources and stickers for companies. I now live in the United States and I look forward to meeting you.
