Class Experience
Students will strengthen their reading, writing, and speaking skills
Our Teachers at DEM Academy have 8+ years of experience teaching and tutoring ELA to students K-12, virtually and with homeschool/co-op groups. Our teachers are kind, patient, fun, and know the importance of establishing a safe space to learn, grow and take risks.
Any homework assigned will be discussed with the family and posted to the classroom.
A supply list will be sent to the parent before each session.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed based on the agreement discussed with the teacher. The teacher will provide all the assessments and materials the student needs. If additional materials are needed for a particular session, a supply list will be provided for the family.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
